November 18, 2008 Regular Board Meeting Agenda Item #24 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #9038 FOR BRUSH, TIMBER, AND RELATED FOLIAGE CLEARING SERVICES Description Bids to provide 'Brush, Timber, and Related Foliage Clearing Services' were received from ten vendors on October 21, 2008.  The bids of Jan's Grass and Garden Maintenance, Inc., and E Co Consultants, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Jan's Grass and Garden Maintenance, Inc., and E Co Consultants, Inc., to provide 'Brush, Timber, and Related Foliage Clearing Services' in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
